Hi, I'm Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ansar Suherman, an academic and researcher at Muhammadiyah University of Buton, Indonesia, focuses on journalism, digital media, mass communication, disaster communication, and media transformation in the digital platform era. He actively develops research on data journalism, media platform governance, environmental communication, and the dynamics of digital media in Indonesia, particularly in Sulawesi and the archipelago.
As a researcher, I am involved in various national and international research collaborations related to media, democracy, public communication, environmental conflict, and the development of digital technology in the contemporary communication ecosystem. My work has been presented and published in various scientific forums, national journals, and internationally reputable journals.
In addition to research and publication activities, I am also active in developing higher education governance, strengthening academic quality, developing Outcome-Based Education (OBE)-based curricula, and am actively involved in scientific associations in the field of communication science (ICA, ASPIKOM, ISKI, APIK PTMA). In the field of community service, I contribute to strengthening media literacy, public communication, local culture, and the digital transformation of communities in Eastern Indonesia.
